The Hope Winch Benevolence Fund
The Hope Winch Benevolence Fund provides annual scholarships to current undergraduate pharmacy students who may be experiencing serious financial challenges impacting upon their academic potential. The scholarship fund is supported by the work of the Hope Winch Society which exists to support and maintain the connection between Sunderland Pharmacy School and all pharmacy alumni.
Awards are available up to the value of £1,500 per academic year.
Applicants are eligible to apply at specific periods of the year and must meet the designated criteria to be considered by the awarding Committee.

How to apply
You can apply for the Hope Winch Scholarship via your Evision Account.
Applicants are encouraged to discuss their application with an academic and also the Development Office Team for advice on how to apply.
Applications are considered by the awarding committee in November, February and April. Applicants are reminded that 4 months worth of bank statements for all accounts must be included with the application on evision.
If your application does not meet the requirements then it will not be shortlisted to be put forward to the committee.
