Demonstrating our commitment to you, we offer a number of on-campus services which you are entitled to take advantage of.
Membership to the University Library is available for members of the University’s Alumni Association.
As a guest, you can use the study spaces at Library at Murray and St Peter's Library during staffed helpdesk hours and access the print collections. As a member of the Alumni Association, you are also allowed to borrow up to four print items at a time. For more details about the services available to guests, please refer to the University Library's guests and visitors guide.
Alumni can still use the CitySpace Fitness Facilities.
City Space Gym:
CitySpace Fitness Suite membership includes:
- Full access to CitySpace Fitness Suite
- Access to all fitness classes
- Dedicated cardio, strength, free weights and flexibility areas
- Personal fitness programmes with regular friendly assessments and help from the expert fitness staff
- Fitness tests i.e. Body stats
A professionally supervised service, offering free legal advice and assistance from Sunderland Law School at the University of Sunderland.
The Performance Clinic
At The Performance Clinic you can experience the same level of world class therapy as an elite athlete. Benefit from alumni discounts when calling and quoting you are a Sunderland graduate.
Rent an office or Creative Unit at Hope Street Xchange
Hope Street Xchange, based on the University of Sunderland’s City Campus, offers low cost, easy-in, easy-out tenancy agreements for both start-up entrepreneurs and established innovative businesses. Virtual tenancy agreements are also available, aimed at new businesses who require a professional address, but are not yet in a position to commit to the cost of renting an office.
