About your branch
Since 1963, Stavanger, in the South West of Norway, has donated a Christmas tree to the city of Sunderland in recognition of historic ties. The Alumni Association has over 800 alumni based in Norway, a link which was first established in the 1960’s around engineering. Alumni continue to get together in Oslo and Bergen and we continue to welcome a small cohort of Norwegian students to the University each year.
