Injy’s dedication and strong work ethic was evident throughout her time studying MSc Psychology, as she balanced her work inside the classroom with her role as a Social Worker with Barnardo’s.
After quickly finding her feet at Sunderland, she also signed up to be a student ambassador, helping new students and becoming an important part of the University community.
The Egyptian graduate was most impressed by the diversity of the student population at the University and the array of services that were readily available to students. “They made life easier,” she said.
Injy’s next step will be to begin work on her PhD, which will also be focussed around psychology.
She continued: “I am planning on working as an assistant psychologist or research assistant to gain a pre-requisite experience for my PhD in clinical or counselling psychology.
