The Excellence Scholarship provided Illustration and Design student Meg Campbell the necessary financial support that allowed her to focus on her studies
The money allowed Meg to lower her hours at work to focus on coursework and alleviated the stress having of purchasing equipment needed for the final year of her course.
She explained “Your contribution to my work via my scholarship has allowed me to continue to create art and focus on my studies. The funding gave me the freedom to take time off work when things were getting too much so my coursework wouldn’t suffer through burnout.”
“This scholarship has allowed me to continue to thrive at university. Simply being awarded the scholarship helped my wellbeing hugely because it showed me that someone believes in me, and I needed that. I’m determined to do well, and to prove I deserve your belief in me.”
Meg concluded “ I have put everything I can into the work I’ve done and hope to continue to be successful. I have a conditional offer for an MA in Visual Practice at the University of Sunderland, thank you for believing in me, and for helping me reach my goals.”
