After graduating in 2014 from the University of Sunderland in London, Sufyan Ahmad returned to his home country, Pakistan, where he works as a Human Resources Officer at Shaeen Air International.
Shaheen Air International is a private Pakistani airline with its head office on the grounds of Jinnah International Airport in Karachi. It has almost 5500 employees.
Based at the station in Lahore, the 27-year-old is in charge of all HR related activities of the company and considers his biggest achievement to date having been able to manage their payroll system.
Sufyan, who has always been interested in the Human Resources industry, was attracted to the University of Sunderland because of the course and its prime location.
He said: “I miss my lecturers, the friends I made, and the Campus.”
Suyfan’s advice to other students is: “Study what you have interest in and be ambitious.”
