The Silver Fund

For the benefit of our students, our campuses and our community.

The new Silver Fund will provide grants which directly enhance and enrich the student experience at the University of Sunderland.

Staff and students can apply for up to £2,500 for opportunities which are above and beyond business as usual.

From supporting students to take part in social mobility projects, funding equipment for student spaces, enabling academics to bring world class speakers to Campus or supporting innovative teaching or community projects, the Silver Fund aims to give students a transformational education.

How to Apply

To apply for a grant from the Silver Fund you must complete an application form and submit it to the Development Office before the deadline of Friday 24th February 2023.

The Silver Fund Committee meet twice a year in November and March to award this scholarship programme. You must ensure that your application is fully completed and meets the requirements of the criteria below.
Incomplete applications will not be shortlisted for consideration by the Committee.
