The Douglas Clasper Award - FACI
The University is the recipient of a generous donation in memory of Douglas Clasper, the father of Mike Clasper an Honorary Graduate of the University who was born and brought up in Sunderland.
This award programme will provide one new scholarship each year for five years for a Faculty of Arts & Creative Industries (FACI) 2nd or 3rd Year undergraduate student.
The scholarship award will provide one talented scholar with up to £3,000 to undertake a career enhancing project, initiative or opportunity that will enrich their student experience. Please review the criteria of this programme for further details.

The closing date for this scholarship is Friday 3rd May 2024.
Applications will be assessed by the awarding committee and students will be notified by the end of May 2024.
