The Journalists Chairty Award

The Futures Fund Journalists’ Charity Awards

The University is the recipient of a generous donation from The Journalists’ Charity, to support employability awards for students within the School of Media and Creative Industries, studying a discipline related to Journalism.

The Journalists’ Charity seeks to support new journalists coming into the industry with financial aid to cover essential costs linked to employability opportunities. This could be an award to enable a student to attend an interview, with travel and/or accommodation supported. Or support to help a student relocate to begin a new employment opportunity.

Final year undergraduate students, postgraduate students and recent graduates are welcome to apply. Funds are limited and subject to evidence and criteria.
