He also worked as a Health and Wellbeing Coach at MAN v FAT Football in Gateshead, offering pastoral support to participants aiming to lose weight through football in a positive environment.
When asked about his best memory from his time at the University, he replied: “My proudest moment at Sunderland would be graduating with a 1:1 Honours, considering I was told I was close to a 2:1.
"In addition, winning the best social science/coaching poster in front of Sunderland alumnus, Stephen McGregor, who works with elite golfers such as Rory McIlroy and Lee Westwood, is something I'm very proud of.”
Liam is currently completing QSEP Stage 2 to become a Chartered Sport and Exercise Psychologist. He has planned and delivered Sport Psychology sessions at football academies, cricket and athletics clubs in Ghana and St Lucia respectively.
He has taught Sport and Exercise Psychology at Sunderland College and has worked as a Learning Support Assistant at Newcastle College providing academic and pastoral support to SEND students.
